“When connectivity becomes seamless, businesses gain the freedom to innovate, grow, and lead in a digital-first world.”

New business continuity programme enhances digital support, productivity, and resilience across the UAE

UAE telecom leader du has launched a forward-looking initiative to strengthen connectivity, support, and digital services for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and startups, reinforcing its role as a key enabler of the country’s growing business ecosystem.

The initiative, introduced under the theme “Because Your Business Continuity Matters”, is designed to ensure that businesses across the UAE remain connected, productive, and resilient, regardless of operational challenges or market conditions.

At its core, the programme reflects the increasing importance of uninterrupted connectivity in today’s digital economy, where businesses rely heavily on seamless communication, cloud access, and real-time operations to sustain growth and competitiveness.

Accordingly, the initiative is built around a three-pillar strategy that addresses the evolving needs of businesses at different stages of their journey. The first pillar focuses on enhanced connectivity support, offering tailored solutions and exclusive benefits designed to meet the specific requirements of SMEs and startups.

The second pillar introduces upgraded mobile plans and bundled offerings to maximise productivity. These solutions offer flexible, scalable options that enable businesses to operate more efficiently while adapting to changing operational demands.

The third pillar centres on the upcoming launch of innovative new services, signalling du’s commitment to continuously evolving its portfolio in line with emerging technological trends and business requirements. While details of these services are yet to be fully disclosed, the company has indicated that it will further enhance digital capabilities for enterprises across the UAE.

Commenting on the initiative, Fahad Al Hassawi, CEO of du, highlighted the company’s customer-centric approach, stating that businesses today need more than just connectivity—they need a trusted partner that understands their growth journey. He emphasised that du’s commitment goes beyond delivering services, focusing instead on enabling organisations to innovate and scale while ensuring seamless connectivity remains in place.

The initiative comes at a time when SMEs and startups are playing an increasingly critical role in the UAE’s economic diversification strategy. As the country continues to position itself as a global hub for entrepreneurship and innovation, reliable digital infrastructure has become a cornerstone of business success.

By offering integrated connectivity solutions and tailored support, du aims to address key challenges businesses face, including operational continuity, cost efficiency, and scalability. The programme is expected to help companies streamline operations, improve customer engagement, and enhance overall productivity.

Industry observers note that the move reflects a broader shift within the telecommunications sector, where providers are evolving from traditional service operators into digital transformation partners. Businesses today are seeking more comprehensive solutions that combine connectivity with advanced technologies such as cloud computing, AI-driven analytics, and cybersecurity.

du’s initiative aligns with this trend, leveraging its advanced infrastructure—including fibre networks and 5G capabilities—to deliver high-performance solutions tailored to enterprise needs.

The programme also underscores the company’s strategic focus on the SME segment, which represents a significant and rapidly growing component of the UAE’s economy. By supporting businesses at every stage—from early-stage startups to expanding enterprises—du is positioning itself as a long-term partner in their growth journey.

In addition to enhancing connectivity, the initiative is expected to contribute to broader economic goals by fostering innovation, supporting entrepreneurship, and enabling businesses to compete more effectively in a digital-first environment.

As the UAE continues to advance its digital transformation agenda, initiatives such as this play a vital role in ensuring that businesses have access to the tools and infrastructure needed to succeed in an increasingly competitive landscape.

With its latest offering, du is not only strengthening its enterprise portfolio but also reinforcing its commitment to building a more connected, resilient, and future-ready business ecosystem across the UAE.
