NCM predicts cooler conditions, scattered rainfall and active winds across the country
The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has forecast moderate weather conditions across the UAE from tomorrow until March 24, with a noticeable drop in temperatures and periods of rainfall expected across various regions.
Weather conditions are set to remain moderate during the day and pleasant during the night and early morning, with skies ranging from partly cloudy to cloudy. At intervals, cloud cover is expected to increase, with the formation of cumulonimbus clouds bringing rainfall of varying intensity across different parts of the country.
Temperature Drop Expected, Especially Early Next Week According to NCM
Temperatures are anticipated to decline gradually, with the most noticeable drop expected on Sunday and Monday.
Expected Maximum Temperatures:
- Coastal and island areas: 24°C to 30°C
- Internal regions: 27°C to 34°C
- Mountainous areas: 17°C to 24°C
Expected Minimum Temperatures:
- Coastal and island areas: 19°C to 23°C
- Internal regions: 14°C to 20°C
- Mountainous areas: 11°C to 16°C
Winds and Visibility Conditions
Winds will be southeasterly to northeasterly, generally light to moderate, but may become active at times, particularly with cloud formation.
These conditions may lead to:
- Dust and sand in exposed areas
- Reduced horizontal visibility during periods of stronger winds
Sea Conditions
Sea conditions are expected to be light to moderate, with occasional disturbances due to cloud activity in both:
- Arabian Gulf
- Sea of Oman
As the UAE transitions into a cooler phase this week, residents can expect a mix of rainfall, cloud cover, and improved outdoor conditions, offering a brief seasonal shift before temperatures rise again.
