Tesla Rolls Out Free Supercharging Across UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar Amid Regional Disruptions

Tesla has announced the temporary activation of free Supercharging across a wide network of locations in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, reinforcing its commitment to customer support and mobility during a period of regional disruption.

The announcement was made via Tesla Charging’s official communication channels, with the initiative covering major urban centres and intercity routes, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Jeddah, and Doha.

While Tesla has not specified the duration of this initiative, the move comes at a time of heightened geopolitical tensions impacting travel, logistics, and energy infrastructure across the region.

Strengthening EV Accessibility Across the GCC

The rollout of free Supercharging reflects Tesla’s broader strategy of ensuring uninterrupted access to charging infrastructure, particularly across high-traffic corridors and key commercial zones.

By enabling complimentary charging, Tesla is effectively supporting:

  • Daily urban commuters

  • Long-distance intercity travel

  • Logistics and mobility continuity

This initiative further underscores the growing importance of electric vehicle infrastructure resilience in the Middle East.
